Thomas & Friends: Engine Activity Fun App Reviews

Great games. For toddlers. very intuitive and user friendly. however, the majority of the game requires in-app purchasing, and it was very, very frustrating to find out that the in-app purchases on one device dont transfer through your iTunes account ... You actually have to buy them all over again ( most expensive too!!)

All of the in app purchases have disappeared. My grand children love this app and I could justify the cost of purchasing the expansions "once" but not twice.

Im not sure what happen but all of my in-app purchases have disappeared. I would expect the Dev to either refund or restore these purchases asap. If no action is taken I am personally going to boycott all Thomas products - this is just bad business and HIT should be accountable.

I have everything in the app and all of a sudden its all gone. I have no option to re download it and I would like a refund or the purchases back

Please add Russian language. Thanks to advice.

The menu and navigation for the app is a bit complicated for toddlers. Plus the Guided Access that I turned on locked me into the app. No matter how many times I triple clicked it would not give me the accessibility menu to exit the app. Holding down the power button did not work either. I had to hold down the power and home buttons at the same time for three seconds for my phone to power off. Having four boys ages 2, 7, 9, 10, I can say the interest level in Thomas & Friends starts at about 18 months and fades out at about 6-7 years old. Having toddler friendly menus and working guided access that doesnt lock the whole device are both must haves for any app with interest levels at such a young age. It is an app that wont be used in our house until those two things are improved. The app support button took me to a generic Q&A page with no method if contacting the developer or reporting the guided access issue.

Although my 3 year old loved the puzzles, this game is a disaster on my phone. We ended up paying for all the additional upgrades and could never get them to finish downloading. The worse part is that the pop up to confirm I wanted to purchase the app (even though I already did) came up every second after I hit cancel and finally I had to delete the app altogether just so I could use my phone again. Beware!!

I love the app for my nephew. We had the original one. Well the original developer sold the rights and these bozos took it down and slightly renamed it but it is the same app. I sent an email thinking I could get my purchases restored. Each pack was $1.99 each. I was told they would refund me $1 per pack. They better make this right or I might have to make some phone calls.

Overtime Ive upgraded phones or had to reset to factory setting. Oh Ive back up my phone. But the purchases of this app( extra puzzle) are not there. My kid loves this game. Ive had to repurchase each puzzle three time. I emailed them and they wrote sorry thats how it is. Ridiculous!!!! At a 1.99 each puzzle Ive spent 30 dollars

My son loves Thomas and has fun with this game.

I got an iTunes card to purchase more of the Thomas and friends games I paid $1.99 for school house delivery And $1.99 for Thomas Christmas for my son after I paid for them it took the money and then said failure to find app and failure to buy. Can I get my money back now.

Not working with my IOS 5

I contacted Mattels customer service and was told "The original 2.0 version of the Thomas App was manufactured by a different company called Callaway Digital Arts Inc. Im sorry, but you will not be able to access those packs on our updated 3.0 Fisher-Price version and you would need to purchase the packs for the 3.0 version." All 10 packs total $19.90 of which I can not access with version 3.0. Sorely disappointed with Mattel. I honestly feel as though they are scamming us to buy the same thing, twice.

Ok, my friend loves Thomas so I got this game and I was like wow this is pretty fun acutely I could not believe a baby show game is this fun and this GREAT for kids so yay I think if you have a son and he likes Thomas the train well, its great for him

There is no way to restore your purchase on a new iPad or iPhone. Own more than one I-device? Buy the game separately for each device. Clicking on their support link in the app takes you to a page not found screen. Skip this app.
